COUNTRIES I'VE VISITED

In September, I posted a map of countries I've visited. Now that I've visited six more, I thought an update was in order.
So, where have you been? If you follow the link, you can fill in a U.S. map or other places as well as this particular version.

See that big gray spot in the middle of south america? At least step your toe over the line, or it will forever be the country you didn't go to. what is that country anyway? The one full of poverty and history and big ants? (oh wait...)

It's Bolivia, Kenny, and I'll tell you a funny story about Bolivia. See how they're land-locked, a fact about which they're very, very bitter, having lost any access to the coast from Chile in a war. But--get this!--they still have a navy. Yep. Talk about wishful thinking! (OK, to be fair, I think it may patrol Lake Titicaca, a HUGE lake, but still...)

Tara, for the first four or five years of our marriage, thought I was being dirty and made up a place every time I said "Titicaca." I was quoting the Animaniacs song "Do you want to go to lake Titi-caca?"

Apparently, you don't.

Update: My mom has told me that I have been, yea though in infancy, to China. Don't know if I should count that or not, since I have no memory thereof. Course if that's the new standard, I'll have to start deleting countries as my memory continues to go south...
