Cabbages, continued

OK, I told you I’d answer the cabbages question. It’s because they are cold-natured, and all winter long, they could be found bundled up with layer upon layer (like a cabbage) of clothes to keep warm!

I'm posting this in the wrong place and basically wrong format and wrong everything.... but I think you should know (as you probably already do) that there are expensive places to buy souvenirs and cheap places. Ask a native of Peterburg to tell you the place.
For best results, get a native to bargain for you while you hang back and act like you are a separate party.

Actually, I don't think there's ever a wrong time or format for learning how to bargain to save money, so thanks!

Lina, my guide and friend, is great! I go someplace and the vendor says, "one million ruples" or some such; Lina goes there and I end up paying maybe forty!

So I'm doing fine--but only because I have Lina!

Gayla, your nose is growing as you write the phrase "I am not a cabbage!" :)
