Cabo Polonio, Uruguay

Sometimes, if you're very, very lucky, you get to have church on a gorgeous beach with wonderful people.

We were those people yesterday morning.

Thank you, Lord.

Cabo Polonio, I guess? Wikipedia, that definitive source, says it's a remote beach you can only reach by walking 7 km from the highway or riding 4x4s. Is that what it was? Definitely cool.

Carolina will be in Argentina in two weeks. She's pretty excited.

Grace and peace,
Tim

Si, Señor. We rode 4x4s, and it was very isolated indeed. Loved it. I need to edit the blog to say Cabo instead.

I'm so glad for Carolina that she gets to go "home" (wherever that is for her now!) for awhile. Many of the ACU students will be in B.A. (and some other Argentine places) for Spring Break; our long weekend there definitely wasn't enough!

We, on the other hand, are going in a group of 14 to Machu Picchu, Peru, spending time in Cusco and Lima along the way. We're apparently into remote locales.

Wow!

And I'm excited for you going to Machu Picchu. That will be amazing!

Have you heard that it is snowing in Abilene... Yes on March 3!

Be careful that you are not abducted by the celestine prophecy and sucked up into higher consciousness while in Macho Peedatyou.

Another one of those life goals: Aztec ruins and rain forest. So far this life-by-proxy is working out great!

Missed you at College Station this last weekend! I never could figure out why Thom and Karla moved. Now I know!

Hey Autumn! Snow? What's up with that?! I'm sitting in front of a loud fan typing this comment to you because I'm too HOT!

Yes, we leave in about 10 days for our exciting trip to Peru!!!! One of our life list items to check off as well!

Kenny, I'm so excited that you guys got to see Thom and Karla's new digs; I haven't seen them since they moved over Christmas, but I saw the place before, and it's FANTASTIC and perfect for them. I'm so, so, so happy for them.

Okay, now I'm completely caught up on your blog. Looks like you guys are definitely going through the ups and downs of the cross-cultural lifestyle. Bet you'll be hungry for Greek salad by the time you get home...

Love,

Thom

More snow in Abliene forecast for tomorrow... It's kinda fun; it doesn't stick or make life difficult.

Hey Thom, I heard you were GREAT in CAMELOT last week! Wish I could have seen it/you. Thanks for reading the blog; it makes me ridiculously happy when people read it (and comment so I know they did).

Have you hear that saying I wish you were here, well I wish I were there! It is warm there and I am here in the Snow. I hate cold.

Hey Karen!! Just wanted to let you know that I read your blog faithfully and get much entertainment from it. In fact, I just spent the last half hour reading entries out loud to Krystal and Sarah Novack, and they also enjoy your writing. They (and I) send love, and we can't wait till you come back to Texas!! Enjoy the tropical weather, and we'll try to thaw out before you get back! :)

Love,
Katie Ritter
